This is the family tree of Sri Srikanteshwara Iyer. He was the Inspector General of Police of the Old Mysore State and also the private  secretary of The Maharaja of Old Mysore- Krishnaraja Wadiyar the 4th. He was the acting deewan i.e a minister, during the absence of Sir K Seshadri Iyer. This is also the tree of Ramaswamy Iyer, a district judge, Sambashiva Iyer, a famous South Indian Geologist and Jayaram Iyer, a Deputy Commissioner.

This family tree also has links with Alladi Krishnaswamy Aiyar. He was an eminent scholar and was a prominent member of the Drafting Committee (i.e.the committee that drafted the Indian Constitution).

Spanning over 9 generations, this family has spread far and wide across the world, with branches in Mysore, Bangalore, Calcutta, Hyderabad, Chennai, Thiruvidaimaruthur, Dubai, Oregon, Kuwait, New York, Sydney and also Selaipillaiyarputhur - a small  village secluded in the green corners of Tamil Nadu on the bank of river Cauvery.

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.
